MARFA – Marfa Contemporary will host a closing reception for artist Ann Marie Nafziger’s Field Notes exhibition from 2 - 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 30, at 100 East San Antonio Street in Marfa.
The reception is free and open to everyone and will be the last opportunity for the public to see the exhibition.
“We have been thrilled to share a selection of Nafziger’s new works which are directly influenced by her experiences within the landscape,” said Dr. Natalie Roncone, curator of the exhibition. “In this new series, Nafziger has condensed the rich and tactile painterly qualities of her earlier canvases into ever-evolving organic forms of prismatic colors set against variously toned whites, connoting at once surface and space.”
The reception is come-and-go. No RSVP is required. Dress is casual. For more information please call 423-729-3500 or visit www.marfacontemporary.org.
